Hansika bags plum role opposite Surya

Stunning and totally smitten by the idea of good cinema, Hansika excitedly says, “Bagging a role opposite Surya is a dream come true.”

After considering several names including Sonam Kapoor to fill the glam part for the sequel to his earlier blockbuster Singham with Suriya again, Hari was convinced that Hansika would fit the bill perfectly.

“I think I am blessed to work with some of the best talents in K’town. I am looking forward to working with Suriya and Hari sir,” she gushes. Ask her if she is not intimidated with the presence of Anushka, she quips, “Not at all! I know how my role will shape up and Hari sir has given me the narration. So, there’s no hassle”.

I Want To Work With Surya - Tapasee Pannu

After Suriya’s performance in Rakta Charitra, a lot of girls are curious about him. "He is my favorite actor and I would love to work with him,”she giggles. In fact, she even conveyed her intention to the man himself. “I met Suriya during the audio launch of my film and told him exactly what I felt. He apologized for not coming up to congratulate me first. I thought that was a cute gesture,” she adds hoping to see her dreams come true soon... :)

Looks like the last few days have been quite arduous for actor Suriya and director K.V.Anand. The two, who are joining hands after Ayan for Maatraan, have been shooting late in the evenings for a high- action scene in the film. Anand says, "About 70 percent of the film is complete and we're wrapping up an action sequence now." While he refused to give out more details on the film, a source tells us. "A huge set has been erected on the OMR, where the team shoot for 3 days. A week long schedule has been planned in Hyderabad. Anand, Suriya and the rest of the crew will shoot in a film city where another set is being constructed. The actor - director duo is leaving no stone unturned to make sure this film turns out to be as big a hit as their last one."

3 heroines for Suriya: Venkat Prabhu

Director Venkat Prabhu who is red hot after Mankatha success, is one busy man these days. The director is busy giving finishing touches to his next film with Suriya in the lead produced under Studio Green banner.

The script writing work is going on at a brisk pace and Venkat is fine tuning it all before the next stage.

For both Suriya and Venkat fans, the curiosity levels are already high about how what the movie is going to be about. Says Venkat, “It will be an action film but has humour as well. It will bring out the other side of Suriya. After all we have all seen his humourous side in Pithamagan.”

And the icing on the cake is, the presence of not one but three heroines in the film! Venkat confirms, “Yes there will be more than one heroine, maybe three of them. There will most probably be new faces.”

Given his penchant for casting several heroines in his films, this news is going to raise the interest levels even further in the film

Suriya now joins Venkat Prabhu’s gang

 

After Ajith rocked in Mankatha with Venkat Prabhu’s gang, it is now Suriya’s turn to join the Venkat Prabhu camp.

After Maatraan, Suriya’s next film will be with Vankat Prabhu and his team — Venkat has finalised Suriya for his next script.

The director is currently penning the story and he will be finalising the script soon. Studio Green will be producing the film.

A close aide of the director says, “The Venkat-Suriya combination has been discussed for quite a long time.

Suriya is really looking forward to hearing the script and as soon as Suriya is done with Maatraan, Venkat’s film will commence.

Suriya will be joined by Venkat’s usual gang of boys. Earlier, Venkat had planned to work on a story with his Chennai 28 team but Suriya was finalised recently.

It will be yet another comedy script from Venkat Prabhu — it will be good to see Suriya in such an entertaining film.”
